The livestream industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become the next growth driver for TikTok global business. It also brings great joy to users globally and it creates a new channel for our creators to show themselves.About the team
TikTok LIVE team’s mission is to work hand-in-hand with creators & influencers, agencies, and partnership organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe.Responsibilities
Agencies are critical business partners in TikTok LIVE and the role will be responsible for driving the quality and scale of growth of the LIVE agency industry in Brazil. The main responsibilities include:
1. Agency BD and onboarding
– Drive broader market awareness about TikTok LIVE business opportunities, proactively promote LIVE in the content industry, form strategic partnerships with key players in the content and talent business and onboard them to become LIVE agencies.
– Develop strong new agency onboarding programs, build solid training curriculums focused on operational capabilities and LIVE monetization techniques to help agencies learn how to succeed in LIVE.
– Responsible for BD quantity and quality metrics as well as new agency early success metrics.2. Agency growth operation
– Build structured agency growth path and professionalization journey, develop the relevant training strategies and implementation tactics to effectively level up agencies’ revenue incremental and profitability on the platform.
– Define winning content strategies that agencies and agency creators should implement to reach new audiences and new monetization milestones. Effectively drive agencies to shift to these strategies with clear instructions and results.
– Identify agency’s internal management gaps and conceptualize what an efficient operation model should look like, land them into easily digestable training and coaching materials and guide agencies to implement them properly. Drive agencies to become the frontier of LIVE content innovation.
– Rebuild and iterate the agency incentives structure based on deep understanding of agencies’ needs, motivations and objectives. Utilize platform resources in an intentional and result-oriented way to drive the reaching of OKRs.
– Proactively look for global best practices and regional best practices and transfer them to local market. Hold online and offline competitions amongst agencies to effectively increase the level of competitiveness of the market.
– Responsible for agency revenue growth metrics and other qualitative metrics on content improvement and creator progress.3. Team management and XFN collaboration
– Set team level and individual level quarterly and monthly OKRs for each team member, develop structured progress tracking mechanisms such as daily standups, weekly / biweekly planning, quarterly reviews and planning to ensure targets are on track and met.
– Assess the strengths and areas of improvement of each team member and develop individualized growth plans for each person. Develop team members’ ability in creative problem solving, effective communication and results-driven working habits to deal with day-to-day challenges.
– Be the liaison between regional and central teams on Agency policy, governance, product features, advocate for region’s benefit and interest vis-a-vis central decision making.
– Represent LIVE in XFN occasions, form strategic alliances with other departments of TikTok, advocate for shared resources with LIVE.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
– 5 years of working experience in tech industry, such as LIVE, LIVE Agency Management, B2B management experience in content industry, e-commerce, financial services, O2O services.
– Must have 2 years or more of people management experience.
– Must speak English and Mandarin fluently to effectively partner with global agencies in their native language.
– Experience with revenue targets and a proven track record of bringing exponential growth to the business.
– Strong communication skills and adaptable to a fast-changing environment.Preferred Qualifications
– Direct experience in LIVE or a LIVE agency management.
– Experience with leading growth plateau breakthroughs and pivoting to success.
– Portuguese a high plus to communicate with local stakeholders.
