This professional is responsible for ensuring compliance with production goals, within the standards of quality, quantity, costs and deadlines established by clients, always aiming for the safety of employees who carry out production. Will also be responsible for all strategic areas of the plant, such as: Manufacturing, Quality, Projects, Processes, Logistics and Maintenance.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of operations strategies and plans to support long-term business needs and short-term expectations.Define operational metrics and operating models for manufacturing functions that are consistent with lean operational practices.Develop and implement the long-term vision and strategic plan for the company’s operations.Lead the development and implementation of teams and tools that provide the company’s operations with superior operational results and sustainable competitive advantage.Support the development and maintenance of the company’s vision for a growing business with a portfolio of products sold to the Aftermarket and OEM through internal growth strategies and strategic acquisitions.Support the organization in recruiting, performance management, and succession planning processes.Provide leadership and support for various strategic and tactical initiatives as needed.Develop skills and competencies to prepare for internal and external company growth and the potential for expanded responsibilities.Become a source of positive driving energy and leadership for the company, with strong personal, interpersonal and technical skills.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field5+ Years in Leadership Experience. Preferably in an Automotive Manufacturing Environment2+ Years experience in similar role in a manufacturing environmentExperience in plant management and manufacturing operations Strong communication, management and supervisory skillsAdvanced Professional EnglishAbility to manage people and respect and maintain good relationships with all levels of the workforce.Strong leadership skills, well-developed management skills and a good listener.Work experience in conflict managementAbility to recruit, train and motivate staff in order to balance strength with profitability and growth.Must be a motivator and ability to make good decisions.Must be willing to travel and spend a high percentage of time in the production environment.Come join our global, inclusive & diverse teamOur purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
